The DSS™ system is intended to provide functionally dynamic stabilization and
is indicated for skeletally mature patients with degenerative disc disease (DDD) at one to
three levels from L1 to S1, including conditions such as grade 1 spondylolisthesis.
DDD is defined as discogenic back pain with degeneration of the disc confirmed by patient history
and radiographic studies.
